When development
has no ownership.
It's not a lack of knowledge. It's a lack of focus, method and alignment with the business. These are the patterns we see in the projects that come to us.
REQUIREMENTS WITHOUT STRATEGY
The “what” is defined without the “why”. What's asked gets built, not what's needed: features no one uses and accumulated tech debt.
TEAMS DISCONNECTED FROM THE BUSINESS
Engineering, design and business speak different languages. Technical decisions don't translate into impact and success metrics stay up in the air.
MVPS THAT AREN'T MVPS
The goal becomes having everything in the first release. Scope creeps on its own and what should validate a hypothesis ends up being almost a full product, with no real users to confirm it.
Full ownership of the digital product.
For companies that need a team to think the product, design it and build it, with responsibility over the business result, not just the tasks.
Product strategy
We define vision, target users, value proposition and success metrics before writing a single line of code. The “what” and the “why” are part of the work.
User research & design
We go to the field before opening Figma. We interview real users, map behaviors and test hypotheses with prototypes. Design reflects evidence, not the team's opinions.
Discovery and build in parallel
While one team validates with real users, the other is already building what's been validated. That's how we shorten time to production without sacrificing judgment.
Post-launch evolution
The MVP in production is the starting point. We analyze real usage data, prioritize the next feature cycle and keep iterating with business judgment.
- →Companies that want to launch a new digital product and don't have their own product team
- →Product leads who need an external team with real ownership of the roadmap
- →Companies that already tried outsourcing development and need more than ticket execution
- ✕Execute requirements without questioning them
- ✕Design without validating with users
- ✕Build the product with no metrics or roadmap
An engineering team, without the cost of building it.
For companies that are clear about what they need to build and want a team that executes it with solid architecture and predictable releases.
Software architecture
We design the technical architecture before starting: stack, patterns, expected scale and integration points. Well-founded decisions, not improvised ones.
Engineering and development
Code review on every Pull Request, test coverage, CI/CD configured and releases on time. Your company defines the scope; we deliver it with professional standards.
Systems modernization
Migrations, refactorings and modernization of legacy systems without breaking what already works. An incremental strategy so the business isn't paralyzed during the process.
Our method, your result
We build with our own framework: SDCore defines the process, the standards and the pace. The client defines what they need; we decide how it's built well.
- →Project leads who already know what to build and need teams to execute it
- →IT leads looking for a technical partner with ownership of architecture and quality
- →Companies with legacy systems that need to modernize without stopping operations
- ✕Accept requirements without reviewing technical feasibility
- ✕Deliver code without tests or documentation
- ✕Commit to dates without real visibility of the scope
FAQ
What's the difference between Digital Products and Software Engineering?+
In Digital Products, Shifta has full ownership: we define, design and build the product. Software Engineering is when your company brings the requirements and we contribute architecture, method and engineering quality to execute them.
How much does it cost to develop a digital product?+
Developing a digital product is quoted by dedicated team and scope, not with a list price. We assemble a product, design and engineering team sized to your project and work in sprints, with a typical minimum of three months. The cost depends on team size and complexity, and we define it together in the first conversation.
What is an MVP and why is it worth starting there?+
An MVP (minimum viable product) is the simplest version of a digital product that already delivers real value and lets you validate a hypothesis with real users. It's worth starting there because it reduces risk and shortens time to production: you launch fast, learn with data and avoid building features no one uses.
How quickly can you start?+
The first sprint starts between two and five weeks from contract signing. From the second week of execution there are already concrete deliverables on the table.
Do you use artificial intelligence to develop software?+
Yes. At Shifta, artificial intelligence runs through the entire software development cycle: research, design, code generation and review, and QA. It's not an isolated experiment, but a structural part of how we work, which lets us deliver faster without giving up quality.
What happens after the MVP launch?+
The MVP is the starting point, not the destination. We analyze real usage data and prioritize the next feature cycle with business judgment. Continuous evolution is part of the model.
Who owns the code?+
The code and the product's intellectual property are 100% your company's. We work under contract with rights assignment and hand over repositories, documentation and access. There's no lock-in: you can continue development with your internal team or with us.
Do you work with companies outside Argentina?+
Yes. Shifta is an Argentine software consultancy that works with companies across LATAM remotely. We deliver digital products in several countries in the region, with teams that integrate into the client's operation regardless of location.
What kind of companies does Shifta work with?+
With mid-sized and large companies that see technology as a competitive advantage. We have depth in Insurance, Oil & Gas and Manufacturing, and a partner relationship with C-levels and technical teams. If you're looking for a vendor for one-off tasks, we're probably not the right team.
